BMICH Engages with PickMe for Convenient Customer Pick-up and Drop off Points

BMICH Leadership team together with the management of PickMe at the inauguration.
The PickMe platform is one of every Sri Lankan’s most used mobile applications today. A purpose driven organization which makes “Joyful Mobility” for everyone being the ultimate motive, pursues to ensure the best convenience of its customers and driver partners. PickMe has identified BMICH as one of the highest customer trips generating locations in the country. BMICH being Sri Lanka’s largest conference and event premises. It is comprehensible for PickMe to experience higher passenger rides, from the BMICH.
Both PickMe and BMICH managements have decided to make a seamless process for customer pick-ups and drop-offs at BMICH which will increase convenience for passengers and drivers while reducing traffic congestion within the premises. Therefore, PickMe joins hands with BMICH to create four (04) customer pick-up and drop-off points within the BMICH premises. These points are now visible for both passengers and drivers at the BMICH premises and within the mobile App.
On 16, June 2023 a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between both parties in the presence of Mr. Isira Perera Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Nuzrath Nazar Head of Corporate Solutions and Business Development, and Mr. Dileep Udara Head of Driver Acquisitions and Colombo District Manager from PickMe while Mr. Sunil Dissanayake Director/Chief Executive, Mr.D.P.K.Sirimanne Chief Engineer/Deputy Director, Mr.Aruna Dharshana Head of Finance and Devanthi Ambuldeniya Head of Business Development / Reservations & Events represented on behalf of BMICH.
Commenting at the occasion Mr. Sunil Dissanayake the Director/CEO of BMICH said “with the BMICH association with PickMe, we have been able to add another value adding facility to our customers enhancing our portfolio of value-add services.”. Further expressing his ideas Mr. Isira Perera the COO of PickMe stated “We are pleased partner with such a significant organization in the country to uplift the convenience of our passengers and drivers, when they opt for PickMe for their day-to-day transportation needs. As an enormously transforming company, we always look forward for partnering with similar institutes to uplift the digital mobility service in this country.”
Now everyone who commute for their events at BMICH, can select one of the four points via the PickMe App much expediently.
